So cool you stood where he wrote!! I also find it interesting Vermont brought out the jungle setting and India zeitgeist.

Yes! It was so cool! Such an amazing feeling to be in that space. I've read also that his game room was inspired by Mark Twain's, which he saw . . . which is funny because it reminded me of Twain's billiard room when I was there. Kipling loved Vermont. It's sad he had to leave it.

Yes! So many already . . . especially in Concord Mass . . .. ;) I have yet to really delve into Emerson and the several writers he inspired!

Can’t wait! I’m an Emerson junky! The first guy I kissed (Yancy Ralph Waldo Emerson III) I actually agreed to kiss in 6th grade purely because he was related to the OG Emerson 🤣
