It’s Week 4 of National Poetry Month!
I’ve been having so much fun going through all of my old poetry! This week, I chose a handful of my shorter poems that are my favorites. All of these were written between the ages of 14-20 years of age.

Hot Shot
Three dollars in my pocket,
The heat is hot today.
One hundred degrees and
Rising.
But the wind is cold,
Where you stand,
On your mountain.
I look up to see you.
But you ignore my call.
Maybe you are just,
Too high
To hear.
